This summer, Genbudo Basalt Caves Park will be hosting a fantastic light-up event. Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature and the combination of light. Genbudo Caves’ striking scenery will be illuminated by fantastic lights, creating an otherworldly atmosphere.

Event Dates:
July 20th (Sat) to September 23rd (Mon/Nat. Holiday), 2024
*This event is only held on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays during the event period

Illumination Hours:
19:00-21:00 Last admission 20:30 (Visitors who arrived during regular admission hours can stay until the illumination begins.)

Admission fee:
Adults 500 yen / Students 300 yen* / Junior high school students and younger are Free*
*Please show ID at the counter

*Please watch your step as you walk through the park as some areas may be dark and the ground is un-level.
*Illumination start times may change depending on what time the sun sets.
*The event may be canceled due to some weather conditions, so please check in advance for closures.
